Since 2012, he has been traveling around the world and is only a few centimeters tall. He also travels Scandinavia with a smile on his face. Who are we talking about? About the smallest skyscraper in the world, a symbol of the Good Humor Party invented in Poland
Birth of the Happy Skyscraper
He started traveling in 2012. He first visited New York City. Since there are so many huge skyscrapers and everyone is competing to build the biggest one, the satirist Szczepan Sadurski decided to build the smallest skyscraper in the world. He painted a lot of windows and a smile on a toothpaste box. Then he and his friends photographed him in front of the Chrysler Building and in the vicinity of Central Park.
A traveler from Poland conquers the world
What was supposed to be a one-off happening soon spread to other cities and countries. More people joined the photographing of the smallest skyscraper in the world, which was named Happy Skyscraper. Something that some people thought was a completely pointless activity, was fun for others. Happy Skyscraper visited more places on our planet with each subsequent month.
He is photographed in public places – in front of castles and palaces, next to parliaments, stadiums, bridges, monuments and volcanoes. Currently, he has over 700 cities in 70 countries on his account. On all continents except Antarctica. The little, smiling traveler was photographed in Canada and the USA, he visited Cuba, Brazil, Argentina, Peru and Chile (these are some of the countries he visited in both Americas). He has been to Australia, Japan, China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Africa and almost all European countries.
Cheerful Skyscraper in Scandinavia
The smiling traveler also visits Scandinavia. He was in the capital of Denmark – Copenhagen, in Klasvik in the Faroe Islands, in the Baltic Sea he visited the Danish island of Mon. In Norway, it was photographed along the Troll Road, next to Geiranger Fjord, also on Spitsbergen. He was in Storen, Trondheim and Oslo. He will also visit Sweden soon.
