Mark Zuckerberg Speaks About Dislike Button [Video]
Although we will likely not see a "dislike" button coming anytime soon, Mark Zuckerberg spoke at a Facebook Headquarters Q&A session about the potential for a range of buttons that show empathy. Recognizing that not every moment is a good moment, Zuckerberg specifically does not want Facebook to become a community that upvotes and downvotes each post. He offered an example of posting a very important personal event and having the only interaction being dislikes or downvotes. Instead, he offered some other examples we might see like, an "I'm sorry" button.
